Fish Techknowledge is specialized in fish farming. We have many years of experience and are familiar with modern, sustainable, farming techniques. We only use recirculation systems, culture vegetarian fish such as tilapia and carp (avoiding fish oil and meal as ingredient of fish food) and utilize the effluent for vegetable production thus avoiding environmental pollution). The consumption of fish is important because scientific research has shown that fish consumption will result in optimal human health, especially for brains, blood vessels and heart, because fish supply basic essential food stuffs a human needs to take in, especially omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins like vitamin D. Fish Techknowledge only cultures vegetarian fish avoiding utilization of fish meal and oil as fish food, thus avoiding over-fishing the sea. Currently we focus on two activities: The Dutch vocational education in cooperation with ’De Groene Welle’ and "The Indonesia Project" in which we work closely with our Indonesian partners in Cimahi (Green Valley C.V.) and Salatiga (Agricultural Training Center).
